Underwater shot: Hand reaching out in the water

Water Symposium 2011

"Touched by water - what connects people to water"

Hansgrohe invites you to the Water Symposium in the Black Forest for the fourth year in a row. This time people and their special relationship with water take centre stage. On 6 and 7 October 2011, international water experts will be investigating what connects us with this element. The Water Symposium 2011 is entitled “Touched by water” and promises to be an event for all the senses. It is taking place at the Aquademie event centre in Schiltach.

Interesting, sensual and incredible things about the precious liquid

Without water, no life. Perhaps that is the reason why we humans feel that we are connected to water in an elemental way. We find peace both in and beside water – and draw new strength from it. The ways we think, are and act are all shaped by our relationship with water. Water affects our senses, awakens our feelings and enriches us all – albeit in different ways.

Lectures, events and workshops 2011

Dr. Klaus Lanz is the moderator of the two-day event. He is a scientist with a doctorate in chemistry who works in the field of environmental and water research and is the founder of the independent research institute, International Water Affairs.
